Engineer Zolfaghari Building & Oghab Confectionery Complex (Tehran, Iran)
Executed in Khajeh Abdollah Street, Tehran, this dual‑project case exemplifies Lahij Souleh Construction Company’s advanced engineering capabilities, technological precision, and superior project management in the field of bolted steel structures.
Initially, Lahij Souleh was commissioned to design, fabricate, and install an eight‑story entirely bolted steel structure for Engineer Zolfaghari. The project was accomplished with remarkable speed, precision, and quality, earning recognition for its flawless execution.
The proximity of the Oghab Confectionery Company headquarters to this site allowed its management to directly observe Lahij Souleh’s construction process—its efficiency, accuracy, and engineering discipline—which ultimately led them to entrust their own 8‑story building project, weighing 400 tons, located immediately adjacent to Engineer Zolfaghari’s tower, to Lahij Souleh.
This second project was executed under the same stringent quality standards and time control and successfully delivered to the client on schedule.
Following this exceptional collaboration, Phase Two of Oghab Confectionery’s factory expansion was also awarded to Lahij Souleh. Implemented at the company’s production site, the project comprised a two‑story industrial steel hall (warehouse use) with a 26‑meter clear span without intermediate columns, weighing 380 tons, and was designed, fabricated, and installed in only 30 working days.
Together, these projects stand as a hallmark of Lahij Souleh’s engineering excellence, demonstrating the company’s capacity to deliver complex high‑rise and industrial structures with precision, speed, and uncompromising quality—reinforcing its status as one of Iran’s leading pioneers in entirely bolted steel construction technology.
