Lexon Tower Project – Tehran, Iran
The Lexon Tower Project is regarded as one of the most prominent construction undertakings in Tehran, with the responsibility for its development entrusted to the Hemmat Cooperative for Building Development. This monumental project commenced in 2014 (1393), and under a formal contract with the reputable Lahij Souleh Company, the execution of its entirely bolted steel structure was assigned to this firm.
Through the application of cutting‑edge technologies in the construction industry, Lexon Tower has successfully introduced new standards in the design and execution of high‑rise buildings. The tower comprises 32 floors, including 8 basement levels and 24 above‑ground floors, and is situated on the eastern shore of the scenic Chitgar Lake, one of the most pleasant areas in western Tehran. Its height reaches 120 meters from ground level, placing it among the tallest and most remarkable towers in Tehran.
A defining feature of this project is its unique architecture and curved exterior façade, executed with distinct rotations and special curvatures at each floor. The varying radii of these curves across different levels demanded exceptional precision and expertise in fabricating the steel components, with each element manufactured to fit its exact position in both the façade and structural framework.
This creative design approach not only rendered the Lexon Tower aesthetically striking and modern but also attracted the attention of engineering and architectural specialists for its technical and visual innovation. Additionally, the use of bolted connections for the steel structure not only enhanced safety and installation speed but also enabled the assembly and disassembly of various sections of the structure when required.
In sum, Lexon Tower, through its integration of advanced technologies and a skilled team of engineers and architects, has established itself as a distinctive architectural and structural landmark in both the Chitgar district and the capital city of Tehran.
