Dorfak Shomal Steel Plant (Ahanita Rebar) – Phase 3 & Phase 4
The Phase 3 of the Dorfak Shomal Steel Plant (Ahanita Rebar) was executed by Lahij Souleh in 2021 (1400). This phase featured one of the project’s most sophisticated structural design approaches—the use of tubular bracing systems with pin connections—a configuration that required exceptional precision throughout installation.
All steel components were pre‑fabricated in advance, enabling an organized and rapid on‑site assembly. The operation was completed with outstanding quality and within a 60‑working‑day timeframe, with final finishing completed in Mehr 1400 (October 2021).
Following the client’s satisfaction with Lahij Souleh’s engineering and execution standards, the company was awarded Phase 4, involving the construction of a 40‑meter‑span industrial steel hall used as the soil storage facility for the steel plant, weighing 220 tons. Fabrication was finished within 40 working days, and installation completed in only 15 working days.
